Planet Office Systems offer a full in-house repair and upgrade service in our workshops in Feltham, West London .

Our standard inspection and PC health check is only £45.00 inc. VAT and provides up to 2 hours engineer time on your system, this includes virus and spyware checks, Windows updates and general software errors which if possible will be rectified within this cost.

Should we not be able to rectify the faults within our standard charge we will provide a full quotation to repair your PC. For example a system that requires an Operating system and application suite re install will be charged at £80.00. This includes data backup and restore, software installation and device driver configuration. This assumes that you have your Windows licence available for us along with any media that came with the system. We can supply Windows Licences and most drivers can be downloaded with the exception of a few legacies. Quotations on request.

Recently our Engineers have helped home users with the following issues, these stories demonstrate additional costs based on specific issues which of course vary.

PC would not start, no power or drive activity lights. We found that Power Supply had failed. This was replaced solving the issue. We also took the time to run a disk Defragmentation to increase the system performance. The charge was £30.00

One Customer complained of a blank screen when starting her PC. On inspection a series of POST (Power on Self Test) signals pointed to a faulting Graphics Card. The repair cost was £40.00

We have had a number of Motherboard failures also, the cost of replacing the system board varies by the manufactures spec and the charges start at around £65.00

Our repairs will cover any problems caused by virus infection. However unless the client is in possession of fully licensed anti-virus software, they would need to purchase a copy from us. We sell a variety of Antivirus packages which would be used to remove the infection.
